English

At West Leederville Primary School, the teaching of English occurs in integrated literacy blocks. Students experience a range of reading and writing procedures including: independent, modelled, shared and guided reading and writing, language experience, and book discussion groups. First Steps resources form the basis of effectively-differentiated learning programs.
